         The Brahma Kumaris World Spiritual Organization acknowledges the intrinsic goodness of all people. We teach a practical method of meditation that helps individuals understand their strengths and universal truths. We are committed to spiritual growth and personal transformation, believing them to be essential in creating a peaceful and just world. Acknowledging the challenges of rapid global change, we nurture the well-being of the entire human family by promoting spiritual understanding, leadership with integrity, and elevated actions towards a better world.
          In the United States, the Brahma Kumaris WSO is incorporated as a not-for-profit 501(c)3 organization. There are over 35 meditation centers and 3 retreat centers in the USA. Global Harmony House Meditation Center is the national and regional headquarters for the Brahma Kumaris.
          As part of a worldwide family of individuals from all walks of life, there are over 9,000 centers in more than 120 countries and a learning community of over a million individuals worldwide. Two unique aspects of the Brahma Kumaris are the following:

• The organization is led by women. While forty percent of the Brahma Kumaris are men and men play key leadership roles, the organization’s top leadership is of women. 
• All courses and programs, including the teachings of Raja Yoga Meditation, are provided free of charge as a community service, supported by voluntary contributions.
